About
This website was developed by two Research Master's students at Leiden University, Casper Hanegreefs and Giorgio Colombo, as part of the course "Scientific Methodology in Archaeology".
Our aim is to help children with an interest in (scientific) archaeology, and to further spark this interest. At the same time this platform can be used as a resource by teachers, who need information to teach a young public about the use of scientific methods in archaeology. From our own experience, we know that explaining complex topics, like dating methods, can be challenging due to the heavy reliance on specific terminology and knowledge. We hope that we can help overcome this obstacle, and provide new ways to teach young aspiring archaeologists!
